The 2021 roster of OnePlus is arriving soon

The high-end OnePlus 9 Pro is suspected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 cpu. Sources say that it will also ship with a 6.78-inch 1440p monitor running at 120Hz and a fast wireless charging at 45W. In the meanwhile, the mid-range version is anticipated to have a 6.55-inch 1080p display, even with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau said on Monday that they had “something new” to announce next week. The leading hypothesis is that it will be the company’s next flagship smartphone line, the OnePlus 9 series.

Lau connected to the “Moonshot” landing page featuring the tagline “Something new is on the horizon” as well as a version of the iconic Earthrise image taken from the surface of the Moon by astronaut William Anders on December 24, 1968, during the Apollo 8 mission.

The Earthrise series of photos were taken with a modified Hasselblad camera, which is interesting here given the speculation that OnePlus might be affiliated with the Swedish OnePlus 9 camera manufacturer.

During the weekend, the tipster told 91Mobiles that OnePlus is planning to launch three new smartphones as part of the OnePlus 9 range, including OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9 Pro. The fourth product, OnePlus Watch, is also said to have been launched at the same event.

We should know more about this next week as OnePlus plans to spill the beans on March 8th.
