South Korea To Spend 258.6 Billion Won for International Blockchain standardization

Per sources, the South Korea administration is contributing a significant amount of 258 billion won to make international and national norms for key innovation in every division, such as the K-defence model, 5G, blockchain and intelligent transportation.

2020 National Standard Implementation Plan

A “2020 National Standard Implementation plan” resolved mutually by the 16 departments, ministries, and agencies, according to the sources. The establishment of the plan took place in the national standard council reported on the 31st of May.

Likewise, to accomplish the 12 key undertaking as per the 4th essential framework for the predefined National Standards (2016-2020), this year, it intends to contribute a sum of 108 billion won. It is an 18% expansion from the previous year and promotes 101 tasks.

The ministry of exchange, industry and energy are going to take active participation in the development of new industries. Such as “Big 3”, like hydrogen technology, future cars, and bio-health.

The promotion from the south Korea administration of the international normalization of ISO (international organization for standardization) of the k- prevention model, internationally trusted during this pandemic response process (coronavirus) will also take place.

The international standards will also gain promotion. This will be for the aggregate of 18 items. These include RT-PCR (real-time gene amplification-based diagnostic technique), ahead of performing international standards in November.

Focus Areas of The Korean Administration

The Ministry of Science will also promote technological standardization. This comprised the field of advanced information and communication technology (ICT)—for example, IoT (internet of things), blockchain, 5G, and many more. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural affair is also putting their efforts to standardize the traditional Korean food like red pepper pasta.
